Hi, I’m Steve Campion,

Since joining Toastmasters 10 years ago, I’ve seen the impact that it can have on people’s lives, careers and relationships. That has lit a fire within me and created a desire to share it with others.

In my career I’ve led teams in different companies, countries and cultures. In Toastmasters, I’ve served as a club officer in three different Districts, started six clubs and been a District leader for four years.  I’ve learned a lot, and Dr Smedley was right: we learn best in moments of enjoyment.

We also learn best when we have purpose and when we learn together.

My big idea is the Torchbearers Plan. It provides training that focuses on members’ needs and builds communities that support learning and growth.
